Warning some of theese books might not se our shelves for some years still….
Lets start with Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare. The dark artifices will have its (maybe?) conclusion if she dont pull a Mortal instruments on us and gives 3 more! This is gonna hit our shelves december 4th this year.
I love this series more than her others actually. The faeries are facinating!
Next up No 4 in The bone season. Samantha Shannon seems to have lost a bit of pace with the 3d book but please oh please keep going!
Expected publication: 2019
Last one and my most wanted and most hated all at the same time. Doors of stone by Patrick Rothfuss. Im pretty sure I need to reread the first 2 in this gigantic trilogy cause its been so long now. But this is about as good as it gets. Wonderful worldbuilding, intresting magicsystem and complex characters.
The Festival of the Four Winds AND Crown Pavilion are back as a permanent summer festival! This have been a long time comming for sure. Even though Ive been in a disagreement with Anet for a while and not playing as much, this brought me back. It feels like this is the largest festival they have done with both the Bazaar map, multiple races and the combat arena.
Im happy too see that the combat arena with the bosses is not nerfed to the ground as it stands now. I really hope this might be a turning point for me to get back in to the game!
Do you play Guild Wars 2? What do you think of the festival? Let me know!
Fantasy from Brandon Sanderson and its really good.
The world the characters the magic…. Wonderful! I just have 2 minor issues.
1. The classic;
P1 “Im a nobody” P2 “No! You are special!” P1 “Really?” P2 “Wow such power! This is how it works…”
But I guess its how we as reader will get the info the smoothest/quickest way.
2. The constant use of the word Frowned. I swear if I took a shot every time while reading I would be dunk as a skunk.
This is a trilogy and the first book is my overall fav but can we talk about the ending in the last book? Oh no, spoilers…
What I can say is that the ending is EPIC. But, it took so very long to get there. Second book also suffered from the middle part being really slow. First book feels so different from the other 2 in the series.
First one is a solid 5 stars rating second is 3 stars for me. Most of the last book is 3 stars. Then the end begins and its 5 stars, therefore I pick 4 for the book as a whole.
